For well over a century, women have been strong partners in the American Baptist family. The American Baptist Women's Ministries of University Baptist Church has ministered to the needs in our church and local communities, done mission work for national and international causes, and has raised money for missions in the United States and around the world.

We are committed to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and to the mission of the church. Through the enabling of the Holy Spirit, the ABW Ministries provides opportunities for each of us to develop into more godly women, as we grow in our faith and serve God’s world.

Throughout the year, please join in these wonderful opportunities for fellowship and service :

• White Cross workday projects for overseas missions
• Opportunities to serve our church and the community
• Opportunities to help through giving to ABWM projects:

- U.S. churches/Christian centers (White Cross Overland)
- International hospitals/clinics (White Cross Overseas)
- AB Scholarships for (college) women with ministry goals
- Special Projects (National and International causes)
- Our Regional and National ABWM organizations
- The Missionary Fund (readying and supplying missionaries)
- AB GIRLS (AB church groups of “girls in relationships, leadership and service”)
- Love Gift (began during the Great Depression – now supports our United Missions)

• Annual ABW Ministries’ Sunday Morning Worship Service

All women attending our church are invited to take part in ABW Ministries. Each woman is encouraged to participate according to her own needs, interests, and gifts as led by the Spirit of God.
